As a younger man, Joe fixed our cars, built our houses and play areas, and was active in church and community projects. Best remembered for his hard work, quick wit, love of poetry, music, and dance, and his sourdough pancakes, Joe did his research, wrote his books, and acted decisively and creatively.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of his Life at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 7, 2004 at Ocean View Burial park Courtyard Chapel, Burnaby.
