Jorgen worked primarily in sales and marketing across Canada from Vancouver to Montreal, and points in between. Prior to retirement, he served in Chilliwack as a returning officer for federal elections. Having a strong belief in social justice and helping others, he was a proud member of Rotary and served on the boards of many community organizations. In his free time, he loved gardening, golfing, wine-making, woodworking, and raising Norwegian Elkhounds. Jorgen and Lona loved to go for drives just to see where the road might take them. He will be remembered as a gentleman with a fine sense of humour and love of stories. His family thanks all the people at Lakeview Lodge for their excellent care and attention. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Westbank United Church, 3672 Brown Rd, West Kelowna.
