(Feb. 21, 1938 - June 5, 2008)
Jon was born on a trap-line near Sandy Lake, Sask. This brave and courageous Cowboy took his final ride on June 5th, and passed peacefully with family by his side.
He worked as a faller and had a special love for trees and the wilderness. Jon also loved hunting and had great respect for wildlife.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Linda, his five children: Reg (Tammy), Sandy (Mel), Rusty (Kristine), Randy (Tricia), and Shane, his two step-daughters: Angela and Melodie (James), his 18 grandchildren: Delacy, Elyse (Jess), Justin, Jamie, Sandra, Brenden, Jenna, Lana, Cherie, Bryann, Kailee, Conner, Makenzy, Jacey, Jordan, Wyatt, Dylan and Dryden, his soon to be great-grandson Isaac, as well as brothers, sisters, extended family and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at Chilliwack General Hospital for all their help during this difficult time, with a Special Thanks to Dr. Ross and nurses Elizabeth, Gerdina, Jenny and Marilee.
A Celebration of his life will be held on June 11, at 4:00 pm at the Evergreen Hall in the Slesse Room on 9291 Corbould St. in Chilliwack.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the family for the Palliative Care Lounge at the Chilliwack General Hospital on behalf of Jon Reimer would be greatly appreciated.
