John (Jay) Rossing passed away on Nov. 6, 2003 at the Chilliwack General Hospital at the age of 45 years. He was born in Toronto, ON on Oct. 31, 1958. He lived in the Chilliwack area for nine years.
John served in the Canadian Forces for 11 years and joined Corrections Canada after his move to Chilliwack. He enjoyed the outdoors especially his garden.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Lorraine and sons, Kris and Warren. John will be missed by his mother, Doreen Rossing; brothers: Paul, Ray, and Rob; and sister: Sonja. He was predeceased by his father John Rossing.
The family would like to thank the Chilliwack General Hospital staff, especially the ICU nurses for all their care and attention.
Services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2003 at the Chapel of Henderson’s with Fr. Fred Taassinari officiating. If friends so desire, donation may be made to a charity of your choice.
