John (Jack) Cunningham passed away peacefully on October 21st, 2007 at Chilliwack General Hospital at age 94 years.

Jack is survived by his loving wife Fern, his two daughters Louise (Walt) and Wendy (Pat); three grandchildren Brenda (Tim), Stuart (Beth) and Sandy (Herb) and six great-grandchildren Terrance, Shawn and Melissa Kobes and Danica, Daryl and Payton Beacock. He is also survived by two brothers Art and Fred and one sister Marie Rannie and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by three brothers Bert, Bill and Jim and two sisters Muriel Chadsey and Donna Hughes.

Jack was born in Vermillion, Alberta and moved to Chilliwack with his family when he was four years old. He joined the Air Force in March 1942 and did a tour of duty overseas as a wireless operator. Jack was a proud Legion Member Branch #4, a lifetime member of the ANAVETS and also a member of the Elks for many years.

Throughout his life he loved gardening, curling, lawn bowling and enjoyed helping others. He will be remembered with love by his family and many friends

A Memorial Service will be held at Chilliwack Alliance Church 8700 Young Rd. Chilliwack at 1:00 P.M. on Friday October 26th, 2007 with a tea to follow. Officiating Pastor John Gray.
