John Henry Miller born February 6, 1956 in Calgary, Alta. It is with deep sadness that we announce his passing at the age of 48 on December 13, 2004.
He moved to Yarrow in 1961, attending Yarrow Elementary and graduating from Sardis Secondary in 1974.
John worked most of his life in the Chilliwack area, but did travel throughout B.C. in ventures of work. John was a farmer by heart.
John will be remembered for a lifetime of helping others with their chores. John always had something on the go.
John’s number one saying was “Don’t worry, be happy!’’
He is survived by his sister Frances (David) Vanderkoon of Chilliwack; and two children, Alana and Micheal.
He was predeceased by his parents Neil in 1978, and Anna in 1979.
A memorial tea will be held on Friday, Dec. 17, 2004 at 4 p.m. at the Yarrow Community Hall.
If family and friends desire, donations can be made in his memory to the Salvation Army.
