“Jack”

In loving memory of John “Jack” Farrell who passed away with his loving family at his side at Chilliwack Hospital on April 17, 2008. He was born June 12, 1935 in Vancouver, BC.

Jack is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sonja; children: Jim (Monica), Joe, Jo-anne, Janice (Murray) and Chris (Tiana); grandchildren: Jason, Niki, Kris, Shane, Steven, Sara, Dylan, Kaley, Shayla and Tom; great-grandchildren: Nathan and Miles; sisters: Dorothy and Barbara; and brother: Percy.

He was predeceased by his son John; brothers: Bill and George; and granddaughter: Carrie-Lynn.

Jack worked in the northern mills before moving his family to North Vancouver where he worked at Seaspan Tugs for many years.

Jack and Sonja retired and moved to Chilliwack where he loved to fish, hunt and goldpan. Jack enjoyed reading westerns, taking off in the motorhome and working in his shop. Jack loved his family and friends, a cup of coffee and a smoke while telling a good story.

He will be forever loved and missed by all who knew him.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 1:30 pm from the Chapel of Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave. Chilliwack, BC
