John Ford Inkman passed away suddenly March 2, 2003 at Chilliwack, at the age of 73 years. He was born in Agassiz on April 1, 1929.
John is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy, of 50 years; his son Dave; daughter Donna (Bruce) Sperling; and grandchildren, Ryan Inkman, and Jody and Colton Sperling.
He was predeceased by his mother Etta; and sister Francetta.
John’s family and grandchildren were his life. He worked for the CPR as a trainman, conductor and engineer, and belonged to the Shrine Motor Corp. John loved to be out ‘on the road’ in the motorhome enjoying the wilderness, new places and meeting people around the campfire.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Mar. 8, 2003 at 1:30 p.m. from Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave., Chilliwack.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Gizeh Transportation Fund.
