“Jack”

Jack Chupa was born on July 21, 1927 in Crystal City, Manitoba. He passed into the presence of his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, March 4, 2009 at Heritage Village, Chilliwack, BC.

Jack moved to BC in 1949 and lived in numerous interior and northern communities during his years as a BC Hydro Lineman.

Jack loved the Lord, his family, and his many friends. He was our “gentle giant” and will be missed by all who knew him.

Jack was predeceased by his parents, Michel and Alice; his first wife, Betty; first born son Blake; and siblings: Edith, Don, Ted and Allan.

Family left to mourn his passing are Sherry, his wife of 19 years; sons: Rocky (Karren), Shane and Myles (Karen); stepsons: Kevin (Kathy), Jason (Susan) and Mark; grandchildren: Alexandra and Arryn Bauder, Marshal, Hope, Isabella and Ottillia Chupa, Larissa, Mathew, Sylvan and Sequoia Teschke; and his brother, Tom (Bertha).

In Chilliwack, a memorial service will be held in the Chapel at Glad Tidings Fellowship, 46641 Chilliwack Central Rd at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 7, 2009.

In Kamloops, a memorial service will be held on Monday, March 9 at 1:00 pm at St. Andrew’s on the Square, 159 Seymour St.
