Passed away Easter Sunday, March 23, 2008 in Chilliwack, BC, in his 84th year. Born January 17, 1924 on Sexton Street, in Greenfield Park, Quebec, youngest of nine children.

Predeceased by wife, Lois Sexton.

Survived by sister Grace Edison and children Paul (Nancy), Ellen (Chris), Coleen, Star (Kelly), Linda (Bob), Jon (Marcia). Also survived by grandchildren: Erin (Gavin), Jeff, Leigh, Marissa, Ryan, Mike G, Sara, Katie, Mike B (Sonora), Cathy (Dave), Rex, Ida, Billy, and great-grandchildren: Hannah, Michelle, Brandon, and Jacob; nephews: Fred, Pete, Carl, Randy, Greg, Patty.

In his career, Dad was an actor, a newspaper reporter for the Montreal Herald and the Vancouver Sun, and head of Public Relations at BC Hydro. He was recognized by BC Hydro for the major role he played in persuading the public to accept a major Hydroelectric project – The Mica Dam. He was involved in civic politics, the Mental Health Association, and Toastmasters. He was a loving father that will be missed by the family that he always put first.

The kindness and exceptional care that Dad received from the staff at The Waverly, is very much appreciated.

 A memorial service was held Saturday, April 5, 2008 at Henderson’s Funeral Home in Chilliwack.
