John Bisschop died on August 13, 2007 at the Chilliwack General Hospital at the age of 72 years. Late of Agassiz, B.C.
John is survived by his loving family: wife, Marie; daughter, Jenny (Chris) Klaassen, Chilliwack; son: Bill (Hannie) Bisschop, Chilliwack; daughters: Diane (Casey) Klaassen, Agassiz, B.C., Marian (Bill) Klaassen, Chilliwack, Joanne (Ed) Van Oort, Chilliwack, Barb (Gerald) Klop, Laidlaw, BC; 36 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; three brothers: Ben (Mattie) Bisschop, Henry Bisschop. Clarence (Wilma) Bisschop; one sister: Jane Slootweg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by one grandson, Devun Barten in 2006, and brother-in-law, Art Slootweg.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, Aug. 16, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. from the Reformed Congregation of North America. Rev. T.R. Treur officiating.
Interment followed at Chilliwack Cemeteries.
