John “Alan” Cheshire passed away in Chilliwack on September 28, 2004 at the age of 78. He was born in Stockport, England on November 29, 1925. He came to Canada in 1950, lived in Toronto and Huntsville, Ont. before moving to Chilliwack in 1977.
He was a veteran of World War II and served in Fleet Air Arm. Alan loved music. He played the piano accordion and other various instruments. He also entertained the forces.
John is survived by his wife, Muriel of 55 years, son Brandon of Chilliwack and granddaughter Amanda of Chilliwack.
Services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 2, 2004 at the Chapel of Henderson’s with Major John Moore officiating.
