This grandma was a great woman. She was important to her family and friends for countless reasons, and her company alone could help people feel better about themselves.

She is predeceased by her father Arthur Freeman.
She is survived by her mother: Dorothy Freeman; sisters: Janice Wisdom, Scarlet Couie, Penny Frees, Dixie Sylvester; and brother: Joseph Freeman; her children: Dorothy Nelson, Desiree DaSilva, Perry Bates, Jason Frees, and Travis Frees.
She was so proud of her grandkids: Georgia, Arnold, Graham; Brandon, Jayme, Taylor, Trista; Kayla, Katy, Becky, Jessica, Travis, Carl; and Che.
A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, at 6:00 p.m. at Camp River Community Hall at 50246 Camp River Road, Rosedale, BC.
