Constable Joanne Gale Horn (nee Polischuk) passed away on April 21, 2005 at Chilliwack Hospital at age 50 years. She was born February 2, 1955 at Kamsack, SK. Joanne is survived by her mother, Kathleen Picton of Chilliwack; brother, Bernard of Baltimore MD; sisters, Renita and Kathleen of Calgary, and sister, Cindy of Sylvan Lake AB; and numerous relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her father, Paul Polischuk in 1982. Joanne graduated from the RCMP Academy in 1975 and was medically discharged in 1979 due to a motor vehicle accident. She resided at the Waverly Care Center for the last 4 years. She has touched so many lives and will be dearly missed by everyone that met her.
