Jeanne Johnson passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2009 at the Bradley Centre, Chilliwack general Hospital at the age of 89 years.
She is survived and greatly missed by Orval Johnson, her husband of 66 years – and best friend for 77 years; her two children, Douglas and Neil; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Jeanne formerly resided in Gadsby and Red Deer, Alberta, Victoria and Pender Island, BC and for the last 15 years in Chilliwack, BC, where she bravely and with great inner strength, battled her illness.
She is gone, but she will never be forgotten.
Funeral services for the late Jeanne Eleanor Johnson will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, January 9, 2009, in the chapel of Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Avenue, Chilliwack, BC.
Memorial donations in Jeanne’s name to the Alzheimers Society of BC, #300, 828 W. 8th Ave., Vancouver, BC V5Z 1E2 would be appreciated.
