Jean Whalen was born April 24, 1935 in St. Albert, Alta. Jean was called home to her Lord December 20, 2002 in Chilliwack.
She is survived by her husband Owen; her sons, Donnie and Russell; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother Cliff; sisters, Doris, Nora, and Mary; and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, Agnes and George; and her special brother-in-law Gilbert.
Prayers were held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Monday, Dec. 23, 2002. A funeral mass was celebrated by Rev. Gary Gordon at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2002.
