Jean Elizabeth Richardson
We are sad to announce the passing of Jean Elizabeth Richardson at the age of 95 on the 26th of May at the Eden Care Home. She was born 13 July 1921 in Bristol, England. After the war Jean moved to Canada and lived in Southern Ontario to raise her family. After the tragic loss of her first husband and two young sons, she stayed in Ontario, where she met Harley with whom she lived numerous years on the shores of Georgian Bay at Victoria Harbour. In her later years they moved to Salmon Arm, BC and when Harley passed in 1995 she moved to Chilliwack BC to be close to her son. Jean is survived by her son, David (Bev) Price of Chilliwack; two grandsons, Larry Price (Michelle Watson) of Kamloops; James (Raelene) Price of Kingston, ON ; two great grandchildren, Amanda Price, Brad Price of Williams Lake and 3 great, great, granddaughters. Jean is also survived by her sister, Margaret Patterson of London, ON, and other extended family members in Canada and England. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernie Price and two young sons, Peter and Larry in 1957; 2nd husband, Harley R. Richardson in 1995; 4 sisters and 1 brother. Cremation has been arranged and interment next to Harley Richardson will take place at a later date. The family would like to express their thanks to the Staff of the Eden Care Home for their kindness and compassion shown to Mom during her stay. And to Dr. J. Hamilton who looked after her for many years. Mom would have said it this way, “ Thanks Love, I am OK.” Henderson’s Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
