Jean Porter (nee Wall) passed away at her home on September 15, 2003, surrounded by her family. She was born on January 11, 1934 in Borden, SK.
Jean was predeceased by her first husband, Felix Neveu; and great-grandchild Juliann Neetz.
She is survived by her present husband Robert S. Porter; four children, Lynn McCully, Rick (Ruth) Neveu, Janice Neetz, and Wesley (Sherry) Neveu; nine grandchildren, Kris (Janine), Alexandra, Lance, Thomas, Jodi, Shayla, Jeremy, Lucas, and Allison; and four great-grandchildren, Daijel, Darrion, Josh, and Joey.
Jean was a Witness of Jehovah and had firm faith in the Bible’s promise of an earthly resurrection - John 5:28, 29.
A memorial will be held on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2003 at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Yale Rd., Chilliwack.
Jean is remembered as a fun loving person who enjoyed helping others. She will be sadly missed.
