Jean Mary Lewis passed away on February 4th, 2010 at New Westminster, BC, at age 85. She was born on March 6th, 1924 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Jean is survived by daughters Bonnie, Wendy (Dick) Whitlam, Janet (Ken) Nicholles, Melody (Brian) Trepanier, Alison (Paul) Gordon, sons Ron (Phyllis), Bruce (Vicki), David (Michelle), numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Eleanor Lewis, first husband Ken Fowler, second husband Bill Marbach, son Steven, and sister Dorothy Lewis.
Besides being a wonderful sister, wife, mom, grandma, great-grandma, and friend, Jean was a talented athlete, involved in many sports and the proud recipient of a silver medal in the BC Summer Games for swimming. She later became her children’s biggest fan at their numerous sporting events. She had an infectious sense of humour, a heart of gold, and was loved by all. We will cherish the memories.
