Jean Alberta Soper, born in Athabasca, Alta., and late of Chilliwack, passed away on April 28, 2003 at the age of 86.
She is survived by her family of two daughters, Elizabeth Gail (Keith) Cunningham of Athabasca, Alta., and Heather Carol Dion and companion Hugh Scott of Bell Ewart, Ont.; one son Bill George Soper of Yarrow; four grandchildren, Jim Cunningham and friend Barry Bishop, David (Kari) Cunningham, Sherry Lynn Dion and Richard Wayne Dion; and two great-grandchildren, Sabrina Lynn Cunningham, and Conner David Cunningham. She is also survived by one brother Jack (Ann) Halliwell of Ottawa, Ont.; one sister Beth (Bill) Holt of Wetaskiwin, Alta.; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2003 at 1 p.m. in the St. John Anglican Church with Father Fred Tassinari officiating.
