TODD, James, Kenneth

It is with profound sadness that the family of James Kenneth Todd announces his sudden passing at the Abbotsford Regional Hospital on Saturday, December 20, 2014. James (aka Jim, Jimmy, JT, Mij) was born in Banff, Alberta on March 13, 1950 to Edwin and Erma Todd. His childhood and teenage years were spent in Revelstoke, BC where many lifelong friendships were formed.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Susan, his daughter Shannon, sister Carol Conkin (Gerry) of Castlegar, BC; brother Dave (Arlette) of Laurier, Manitoba as well as numerous loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and many close friends. Grandpa Jim shared a special bond with his favourite little man, Evan and his faithful companion Mac.

Jim was a kind, generous and thoughtful person whose passion for life and engaging personality enriched the lives of everyone around him. He drew immense pleasure in sharing his adventures with others, and his reputation as an entertaining story teller was renowned. His wonderful sense of humour and enthusiastic enjoyment of life endeared him to everyone who crossed his path.

Jim's legacy will be wrapped up in the manner in which he influenced the lives of those around him. He was a friend to all and will be missed. There will be no service as was his request. The celebration of Jim's life will be held at a later date.
