It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our husband and father Jim Matthias at the Chilliwack General Hospital on Monday, March 22 at the age of 72.
Jim loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting and golfing were his passions. He felt fortunate his work allowed him to explore these passions in many areas of this beautiful province.
He is survived by his wife, Jane; daughter, Jennifer; mother, May; brothers, Ken and Tom and his nieces, nephews and many friends.
The family would like to thank Dr. Bester, Dr. Goodman and the nursing and support staff at the Chilliwack General Hospital for their dedication, care and compassion to Jim and his family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Jim’s memory.
