Jim died peacefully in the early morning of September 26, 2008 in Peace Arch Hospital.

Jim will be remembered as a loving family man, avid fisherman, and a man who didn’t shy away from expressing his opinion. He was active in city politics in Chilliwack during the 1970’s and greatly enjoyed the company of people, as well as his own solitude, especially near a river, lake, or ocean.

His accomplishments were many throughout his business life, his friendships were sincere and lasting.

Dad was predeceased by his daughter Nancy in 1982 and the love of his life Elaine in 2003. He missed them both enormously.

He is survived by me, Lisle, and I will miss his wisdom, sense of humour and guidance. He was always the rock in my sometimes turbulent world.

Everybody is invited to the services being held on October 10, 2008 at 10:00 am at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Home, 14831-28 Ave., Surrey, BC.
