With sorrow we announce the passing of our father, grandfather and dear friend, Jim Dunlop on September 8, 2017, at Cascade Hospice. He was born July 31, 1925. He is fondly remembered by many Rosedale residents as "the old man walking his little dog". He was predeceased by his wife Irene, son Ed, granddaughter Katrina, and brother Art.
Jim is survived by his daughter Kay (Gordon) Dyck, grandsons Geoff (Rebecca), Greg (Rita), Jason (Amber), Darren (Michelle), great-grandchildren, and sister Muriel Sawyer. He will also be sorely missed by Tina Kerkhoff, Hanna & Martin Biemond and children, and the rest of the Kerkhoff family.
A funeral service will be held on September 18th at 11:00 at Henderson's Funeral home in Chilliwack. There will be an opportunity for viewing from 10:00-11:00. Interment to follow at Chilliwack Cemeteries with pall bearers: Geoff Dyck, Greg Dyck, Jason Dyck, Martin Biemond, Pieter Kerkhoff, and Matthew Elgersma.
