James Hallowell Fraser was born March 10, 1935 in Vancouver and passed away June 17, 2009 at the Cascade Hospice in Chilliwack, BC, after a 3-year battle with cancer.
He is survived by his wife Marion and their children: Michael (Julie) Fraser, Ian (Allison) Scott, Cindy (Rob) Kugel, Robert (Dina) Brown, Nadine (Rick)
Barath, Patrick (Vicki) Brown and Andrea (Dan) Petersen. Jim is also survived by his older brother Donald (Mary) Fraser. There are also 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Jim was employed in the forest industry in many different areas from an early age until his death. His great loves were his family, his dogs, his work and his art. Jim will always be remembered for his jokes.

Jim’s funeral will be held June 27, 2009 at St. Thomas Anglican Church, Chilliwack at 2 P.M. Cremation to follow. No flowers, donations in lieu may be made to the Cancer Society or the S.P.C.A.
