It is with much regret that the family of Jack Booth, born April 11, 1920 in Kenville, Manitoba, to Carrie (Greenwood) and Charles Booth, announce his death on March 24, 2010.
Jack was a Veteran of WWII and settled in Hope in the 1950’s with his wife Jean (Bellamy) Booth. He was a proud member of the Operating Engineers Union, Local 115. for over 50 years.
He was predeceased by his brother Bert. Survived by his sister Elaine in California; his sons, Stephen (Janis), Robert, Tom and Dale; along with grandchildren Jay, Dyan, Chuck and Brad.
A Celebration of Jack’s life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Hope Legion would be appreciated.
