Isobel Eugenie SIMPSON

The death occurred recently of Isobel Eugenie Simpson (nee Whitaker), late of Chilliwack, BC and born in Brantford, Ontario on June 13, 1918. She passed away to be with her Lord and Saviour on June 1, 2005 in Chilliwack at the age of 86 years.

Mrs. Simpson was a member of the R.N.A. of Ontario and the R.N.A. of BC. She was a graduate of Kitchener Waterloo Hospital in 1940, an Executive Member of the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada and a member of the St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church of Chilliwack. She loved to play her music.

Mrs. Simpson is survived by her daughter Ann and son Donald Simpson; five grandchildren: Victor, Shaun, Casey, Dustin and Steve; three great-grandchildren: Taylor, Alexis and Kimberly; two nephews Arthur and David Whitaker of Ontario.

Her husband, Douglas, predeceased her in 1982.

After cremation a small Memorial Service will be held at the home of Ann and Mike Foley, 49550 Yale Rd. in E. Chilliwack on Thursday, June 9, 2005 at 1 p.m.

The family would like to thank the staff of Chilliwack General Hospital, the Glenwood Transitional Care Unit, and the Cascade Lodge for their kindness and attentive care.
