Passed away peacefully at Heritage Village, Chilliwack, Saturday, December 1, 2007. Irene “Avis” Spring. Born May 5, 1932 in Holland, Manitoba.
Ever the “middle child”, Mom was adventurous and full of life. She enjoyed music, camping, and travel in her younger years, something that she has passed on to her four daughters. Her sense of humour was always evident even after having a major stroke in 1980.
Avis is survived by her daughters: Debra (Steve) Andrews of Kamloops; Judy (Fred) Mitchell of Chilliwack; Cindy Wells of Prince George; Lori (Eric) Wells of Chilliwack; her grandchildren: Matthew, Jeremiah, Chris, Dustin, Michael, Nigel, Jenn, Alia, Kelly, Sandra, Shawn and Zereno; her two sisters, Toots and Brenda; and her two brothers: Gord and Lew.
We gratefully acknowledge the friendship and care Mom enjoyed while residing at Heritage Village for the past six years. Thank you for always being there for her.
