Hilda Ada Oliver passed away peacefully September 18th, 2006 in Chilliwack General Hospital at the age of 91.
Ada was born in Reigate, England August 2nd, 1915 , and came to Canada as an English war bride.
From the beginning she set in to making Canada her home. She became involved in many different organizations, Boy Scouts, Children’s Hospital, Women’s Institute, Rebekah Lodge and others. Many will remember her skills in leadership, knitting, crocheting and cooking.
She is predeceased by her husband Frank ( 2003), sons Chris (2003) and Gregory (1994). She leaves to mourn her daughters-in-law Winnie of Williams Lake and Sharon of Chilliwack. Also grandchildren and many nieces and nephews in England and Canada.
A graveside service will be held Friday, September 22nd at 1:30pm at Chilliwack Cemetery on Little Mountain.
In lieu of flowers donations to Chilliwack SPCA would be appreciated.
