Hertha NEULS (nee Junker)

Hertha Neuls (nee Junker), passed away in Vancouver on Dec. 15, 2002 at the age of 80 years. She was born on Jan. 28, 1922 on the family farm in Richdale, AB. She moved to Chilliwack in 1946 and later married Phillip Neuls and they had three children together.

Hertha enjoyed being a homemaker and enjoyed her numerous craft works.

Funeral service was held in the Chapel of Henderson’s Funeral Home on Friday, Dec. 20, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Wayne Lunderby officiating. Interment in Chilliwack Cemeteries.

She is survived by her long-time companion Bill Graham; her sister, Freida Polyck of Edmonton; and her children, June Shingler, Vivian (Archie) Charles, Fred of Coquitlam, Shirley Thompson, Bob, Carol Arrigoni of California, Ken (Doreen) of Edmonton, Don (Marianna), Rick (Roxanne), Patti (Phillip) Nault of Kelowna and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents, Adam (1975) and Emilie (1970) Bauer, husband, Phillip (1975), and her sister, Ledina (1972).

She was a wonderful mother and step-mother and will be greatly missed by all.

Should family and friends so desire, donations in her memory may be made to the Salvation Army.
