Helen Margarite Trousil passed away on March 3, 2004 at Chilliwack General Hospital. She was born in Harrisonville, Michigan, USA on March 26, 1911.
Her husband Harvey, whom she married on October 26, 1932 at Cold Lake AB, survives Helen. They celebrated 71 years together. She is also survived by her children, Ruth Degenstein and Darcy (Lucille), four grandchildren, Candy Degenstein, Peter (Lisa) Degenstein, Cindy (Travis) Bryson and Dana (Tracy) Trousil, 3 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces and life long friends.
Helen had three sisters who predeceased her, Della, Nina and Hazel. She had a very active life as a homemaker but enjoyed many hobbies; sewing painting, crocheting and many other crafts, square and round dancing were a favorite pastime. Pat as she was affectionately called, will be missed by her family and her many, many friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, Mar. 10, 2004 at 1:30 pm from the Chapel of Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave. Chilliwack BC with Pastor Tim Rowan officiating.
