Born in Greenock, Scotland, December 12, 1936. Passed away at Chilliwack Hospital, April 25, 2009 with her family by her side.
Survived by sons: Alan Westwood, Jim Westwood of Alberta, Peter (Julie) Westwood of Ontario, Tom Westwood of Alberta, John Westwood (Linda) of Ontario, Rick Westwood (Dawn) of BC, and daughter Margaret (Wayne) Castle, BC; 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; three sisters: Agnes (John) Glancy of Ontario, Margaret Friel and Jean McDougal of Scotland.
No service by request. There will be a Celebration of Mom’s life at the Seniors Recreation Center on College St. on May 23, 2009 at 1:00 - 4:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
