Helen passed away in Chilliwack General Hospital on April 19th 2008 after a short illness.
She is lovingly remembered by her sons: George Ross (Anne) of Calgary, Tom Ross (Roberta) of Powell River; and daughter-in-law: Phyllis Ross of Lloydminister, AB; 18 grandchildren; as well as numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband George Ross; sons: Jack Ross, Des Ross Doug Ross, and daughter Ireen Collins.
Helen was very creative. During her lifetime, she enjoyed gardening, woodworking, ceramics, lapidary, sewing, embroidery, and knitting. She is fondly remembered as the “Slipper Lady” having knit hundreds of pairs of slippers.
She was a true friend to all who knew her.
A celebration of Helen’s life to be held Monday, April 28, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at Henderson’s Funeral Home. Flowers gratefully declined.
