Helen Lutz (nee Mantei), 78, of Chilliwack, BC, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2024. Born on April 20, 1945, in Vernon, BC, Helen was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and faithful Christian. She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith.
Helen was the beloved wife of George Lutz for 59 years and a dedicated mother to Greg and Matthew. She found immense joy in her role as "Grammi" to her four grandchildren, Grayson, Piper, William, and Oliver. Helen's love extended beyond her immediate family, touching the lives of many aunts & uncles, cousins, nephews & nieces, and friends.
Throughout her life, Helen embraced various passions including Church & family gatherings, entertaining, cooking, gardening, travelling, serving her community, and showering her grandkids with affection!
Helen's legacy of love, faith, and kindness will endure.
A Celebration of Life for Helen will be held on April 5th at 1:30 pm at Chilliwack Alliance Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gideon International, World Vision, or a charity of your choice.
Helen Lutz will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched. Farewell to our beloved Helen/Mom/ Grammi, until we meet again in Heaven.
