It is with sadness the family of Helen Clarke announce her passing on Friday, Mar. 28, 2003 at Chilliwack General Hospital. Helen passed away peacefully in her sleep while surrounded by family. She was born in Calgary, Alta. June 13, 1915.
Daughter of Earl and Katie Young, Helen moved to Agassiz where she met and married Ted Clarke and raised their four children. Ted passed on in 1985.
Helen moved to Chilliwack in 1986 and became very involved with five pin bowling and lawn bowling.
Helen is survived by three children, Pat (Dennis) Engebretson, Neil (Carol) and Brian (Carol); nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three sisters.
Helen is predeceased by husband Ted; son Stanley; and granddaughter Sherri.
There will be no service as per Helen’s wishes.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to charity of your choice.
