March 28, 1924-August 26, 2004
Harvey Johnson passed away after a lengthy illness on the 26th of August 2004. At his side was Stephanie McAbee, son Lea, and daughter Dianne.
Born in Stettler, Alta. He joined the Royal Canadian Engineers on June 20, 1941 and retired March 28, 1974. He served with NATO in Egypt and Germany.
He is survived by son Lea (Lynn) Johnson of Vancouver; and daughter Dianne (Bob) Davidson of Chilliwack; three grandchildren, Lynnette (Rich) Gieselman, Terry (Mary) Davidson of Chilliwack, and Jerry Johnson of Tripe, Thailand; three great-grandsons, Michael and Nicholas Gieselman, and Aaron Johnson, all of Chilliwack.
The family would like to thank Dr. Basson and the nurses at Chilliwack General for all their thoughtfulness and care.
Cremation, Memorial service will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion in Stettler, Alta.
