Hans Winzer died peacefully at home in his sleep on Saturday, January 24, 2004 at the age of 81.
He is survived by his loving wife Lydia and daughters Ursula (Bob), Inge (Tom) and granddaughters Anna, Laura and Irene.
Hans immigrated to Canada in 1955 with his wife and two daughters. He settled on a small acreage on Lickman Road. He worked as a logger and well driller. He loved farming his 8 _ acres and loved nothing better than making hay on a hot summer day. He retired from logging at the age of 64 and continued to farm until his last summer. He always will be remembered as a hard worker. He will be missed by his family.

Cremation preceded the service. Memorial service was held Friday, January 30 at 2:00 pm at Henderson’s Funeral Home.
