Gwen Fryer passed away on September 29, 2005 at Chilliwack General Hospital at age 92 years. She was born on February 8, 1913 in Devenport, England. Gwen is survived by her husband, John; son, Derek (Dorothy) Fryer, grandchildren, Antony (Marlene) Fryer, Alan (Erin) Fryer and Nicole (Kristopher) Lengert; great grandchildren, Nicholas, Michael, Jaren and Kaylee and several nieces and nephews and other family members in England.
Gwen and John were married for 68 years and emigrated to Canada at age 76 years in order to be near their immediate family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2005 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave. Chilliwack., Reverend Art Anderson and Reverend Michael Hare officiating.
If family and friends so desire, donations may be made to the Chilliwack Hospice Society , Hospice Centre Building Fund in Gwen’s name.
