Gwendoline Isabel Snowden, aged 92 years, of Chilliwack, passed away on April 10, 2003.
Gwendoline is survived by her loving family; daughter Joy (Norman) Chapman of Rosedale, and son, Arthur Snowden of Chilliwack; 15 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Wilfred Snowden, predeceased her, and also two grandsons, Lloyd Chapman and David Snowden, and two daughters-in-law, Velora and Lolly.
Gwen’s hobbies included knitting, crocheting and gardening. She won many awards for her handwork at the Chilliwack Fair.
Gwen devoted many hours in service to her church. Donations can be made to ADRA Canada.
Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, April 15, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. from the 7th Day Adventist Church with Pastor John Gilbert and Pator Jim Wyman officiating.
