Gwen Maude Friis (Jenvey) July 13, 1926 - September 7, 2004 changed her address to HEAVEN, after a brave battle with cancer.
She will be lovingly in the hearts of hers sons, Gary Sjoblom and wife Cindy, Dean Sjoblom and wife Trudy; grandsons, Aaron and Dylan; sister Freda Paul and husband Jim; brother Barry and wife Jenny; special in-law Barbara; and friends and neighbours, Irmgard and Margo.
Gwen will be remembered for her hard work and her ability to do whatever came her way and never giving up. And, also for her love of animals. In April this year with the guidance of The Lord’s Holy Spirit through Trudy, Gwen accepted The Lord Jesus Christ into her heart. After she accepted Jesus as her Saviour, family and neighbours Margo and Irmgard saw the Lord changing Gwen. She was happier and more secure with her destiny. Gwen later said, “I should have done this long ago!!’’
Thank you to the doctors and nurses and home care staff, especially Brenda and Crystal for the care and compassion you gave Gwen.
