The Lord has taken another angel home. Gloria “Jean” Armstrong was born January 27, 1942 and went home with the angels, from Cascade Hospice on October 28, 2008 at 6:05 am.
Jean’s passion was her family. Lovingly missed by Russell, her husband of 49 years; daughters: Kathy (Ed) and Barb; and her cherished grandsons: Wesley (Katie) and Chris (Shianne). She will also be lovingly remembered by her parents, Ken and Dorothy McLachlan, Eden and her three brothers, Don (Carol), Bruce (Ann) and John (Bev). Waiting there to help her on her journey is sister-in-law, Lorraine Armstrong, mother-in-law, May Armstrong and son-in-law, Curtis Kuiper.
To her extended family and friends, she was the strong, silent one in the background, giving to others and never wanting anything in return.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, November 7, 2008 from the Chapel of Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave. Chilliwack; Pastor Tim Rowan officiant.
If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Chilliwack Hospice Society in Jean’s name.
