It is with heavy hearts that we, the family, announce the passing of our beloved mother, in Chilliwack on Saturday, June 19, 2010.
In Gladys’ earlier years, she was employed with the Federal Civil Service. She thoroughly enjoyed music, singing, dancing and playing piano. Gladys is survived by her two sons, Richard Joseph of Chilliwack and Daniel Christopher of Fort Nelson, BC; two daughters, Beverly Sarah Adams (John) and Marilyn Anne Ashick (Thomas) both of Pembroke, ON. Gladys is also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; two brothers, Jack, Halifax, N.S. and Frank, Sydney, N.S. and Marilyn (Brian) Gallivan and Patricia Richardson, both of Sydney, N.S.
Gladys was predeceased by her husband Richard Michael Dinn; a son, Ronald Arthur; her parents, Arthur and Catherine (Almon) Murphy and two brothers, Arthur Jr and Russell
Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 1:30 at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 8909 Mary Street, Chilliwack.
