Gladys Barrow, longtime resident of Chilliwack, passed away peacefully at Bradley Centre Extended Care Unit on Sunday, March 14 at the age of 92 years.
She will be sadly missed by her son Patrick, son-in-law Brent, grandchildren Jody, and Sean and great-grandchildren Michelle, Ben & Abby. She is also survived by her sister Marina, and brothers Gordon & Clayton, all of Ontario.
Gladys was predeceased by her husband Richard (Dick) in 1995 and her daughter Colleen in 2006.
Gladys was a longtime active member of St. Mary’s Parish. She also served as a kindergarten teacher for St. Mary’s elementary school for many years.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church at 10:30 am on Monday, March 22, 2010. Burial will follow from St. Mary’s Cemetery in Sardis.
