Gertie Freimuth (nee Clayton), born 1910, passed away April 2, 2003.
Predeceased by first husband Harry Clayton (1957); daughter Martha Tkachuk; grandson, Michael Tkachuk; and great-grandson Clayton Weatherly.
Lovingly remembered by daughters, Ellen (Art) Bracey and Edith (Jim) White of Prince George, Shirley (Cork) Klassen of Adams Lake, Mable (Frank) McAvoy of Berwick, N.S., and Patsy (Peter) Dutton of Victoria; 24 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by second husband John Freimuth (1972); and stepchildren, Martha, Freda, Hilda, and Vicki. Fondly remembered by Lyn, Emma, Al, and Harold.
Visitation was held Friday, Apr. 4, 2003 from 7-8 p.m. at Assman’s Funeral Chapel. Funeral services were held Saturday, Apr. 5, 2003 at 11 a.m. at Assman’s Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dr. Lance Morgan officiating.
In lieu of flowers, as per Gertie’s wishes, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, and/or Canadian Diabetic Association.
