It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beautiful wife and mother, Geraldine Elizabeth Hagel (nee Small). Gerry passed away on May 23, 2017 at Chilliwack General Hospital. Gerry lived a very full life! Of her 68 years, Gerry spent 56 living at Cultus Lake. She loved the lake and the people. She loved the buzz of the summertime and the tranquility of the fall and winter months. Gerry is survived by her devoted husband of 46 years, Fraser Hagel, her daughter and son-in-law, Shelby Hagel and Len Mossey, son and daughter-in-law, Mackenzie Hagel and Erin Gates. Gerry will be watching the journeys of her four beautiful grandchildren whom she adored: Josie “Josephine-Geraldine”, Cody, Emma- Lee “LeeLee” and Beck. Gerry has joined her loving older brother, Torry, in heaven, but leaves behind her big sister, Patricia, and her baby sister, Kelly. Family was everything to Gerry! She is survived by many nieces and nephews. A service will be held at the Cultus Lake Memorial Church on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 2pm, followed by a Celebration of Life at the Cultus Lake Community Hall. Gerry asked for a party! She wants those who attend the Celebration to truly Celebrate!! Please bring your funny stories and memories of Gerry to share!
