It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Husband, Dad ‘Papa’ and friend after a sudden and brief illness on Dec. 9, 2012.
He will dearly be missed by his loving wife Heidi; son Kevin ( Nancy); daughters: Charlie (Mike) and Lynne (Orville); as well as his cherished grandchildren Jeffrey, Bronwyn, Ryan and Heidi; seven great-grandchildren; sisters: Geraldine (Lou), Rita (Raymond); brother, Ron; his nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
He Lived a full and rich life. He will lovingly be remembered as the life of the party AKA “Andy” or “Mr. Bojangles’ with his songs, guitar playing and joke telling. He was ‘King of the BBQ’. Enjoyed fishing, golf and road trips.
His unwavering devotion to his family created many fun moments and fond memories that will live forever in our thoughts and hearts. Thanks for being you “Pops” we love you.
Gerry’s wishes are to be cremated. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
