Geneva passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family. She is survived by husband of 58 years, Ralph Magee; children: Eleanor Dzus-Adolphe (Ron), Terry Magee (Dawn), Carol Adams (Bob), Janet Kirkpatrick (Craig), Jane Magee, Brad Magee, Rob Magee, Patrick Lafferty; 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Pre-deceased by her parents John and Pearl DeMaere; daughter-in-law, Elaine Magee.
Survived by siblings, Philip (Clarice) DeMaere, Bill (Audrey) DeMaere, Ann (Brian) Snow, Mary DeMaere and numerous nieces and nephews.
We wish to thank the staff and nurses of Valley Haven Retirement Home, for their incredible loving care of Geneva. Your kindness and concern for our family will never be forgotten and we love you for it.
Special thanks to Pastor Nathan Hewitt for his many prayers and visits. To our church family of the Rosedale Community Church of God, heartfelt thanks for your loving prayers, support and thoughtfulness. To her sister Mary Demaere for months of loving dedication and care.
Lastly and most importantly, we are grateful for the Godly example that she set for all of us, her peaceful passing from this life and the assurance of eternity with her Saviour.
The celebration of her life will be Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the Rosedale Traditional Community School located at 50850 Yale Rd., Rosedale, BC.
A second memorial service will be held in Paradise Valley, Alberta, Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 1:00 pm in the Paradise Valley Church of God.
Interment to follow in the paradise valley cemetary.
