Frieda Wilhelmine Arnold (nee Oldach), born on April 24, 1924 in Mothalen, East Prussia, was called home to her Lord on May 13, 2005, at Glenwood Care Centre in Agassiz, B.C. at the age of 81.
She will be sadly missed and is lovingly remembered by her husband of 61 years, William Arnold, daughter Helga (Ron) Driedger, sons Werner (Leona), Guenter (Debra), Rolf (Cynthia), sisters Lydia Arnold, Meti (Fred) Krueger, Trudy (Udo) Krueger, Hilda Rabach, Gerti (Artur) Gerdawischke, Christel Gellert, sister-in-law Elizabeth Oldach, as well as 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at the Chilliwack Baptist Church, 1st Street, Chilliwack at 1:30 pm. Internment will be at the Chilliwack Cemetaries followed by a reception at the church.
The family would like to thank Drs. Bartel and Dueck, as well as the wonderful staff at Logan Manor and Glenwood for their compassion and kindness in their care for "Oma".
