After a long battle with dementia, mom left this earth on Jan. 28th, 2012; now free of the mind and body that betrayed her, and reunited with Dad.
Mom was born on November 19, 1933 in Chilliwack BC. She married dad (John Starr) on November 20, 1953 and they raised 2 children together – Stephanie (Lindsay) Ryckman and Ria (Danny) Johnson. She had 3 grandchildren, Shauna (Jay) Erler, Corey Ryckman and Jarrett Johnson and 2 great-grandchildren: Kobi and Boston Erler whom she loved just watching their every move. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews as she had 11 siblings who all predeceased her.
