Freda Johnson passed away on August 17, 2005 at Chilliwack, BC at age 83 years. She was born in Sprucefield, Alberta on January 20, 1922. Freda is survived by her husband of 55 years, Oscar “John” Johnson; daughters Gail Johnson of Chilliwack, Cheryl (Rick) Bumphrey; grandchildren, Kevin and Kelly Bumphrey of Calgary and her sister, Ruth McKay of Chilliwack.
Mom was predeceased by her parents, Ulrika and Emil Hedlund and her brother, Arne Hedlund. Freda positive spirit and love for her family were obvious to anyone who knew her. We will miss her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2005 from 1:00 - 3:00 pm at the Lynnwood, 9168 Corbould Street, Chilliwack, BC
If family and friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Alzhiemers Society in Freda’s name. Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
